DESCRIPTION:Overview\nJoin us at Concord Historic Site for Go-Go on the Green on August 20 in Capitol Heights!\n\n\n\nWe’re turning up the volume in honor of go-go music: its pioneers\, its cultural power\, and its enduring heartbeat in the region. \nM-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation: Prince George’s County is teaming up with the Go-Go Museum & Cafe to host an electrifying evening of go-go and gathering. \n \nGo-Go on the Green\n📅Thursday\, August 20 | 5–8 PM\n📍8000 Walker Mill Road\, Capitol Heights\, MD \n✅FREE & open to the public \n\n\nLine-up:\nOur headliners\, New Impressionz\, have been making huge waves in the local go-go scene. Well known for blending go-go culture with unique covers\, their high-energy performance is guaranteed to make this an evening to remember. \n \nThe Next Generation Krank Band is one of the hottest youth go-go bands in the DMV. Bringing classic go-go rhythms to a whole new generation\, these skilled young musicians bring both hype and heart to the party. \n \nOur sound selector for this evening will be Prince George’s County’s own DJ Bacon Bear from 93.9 WKYS FM. First row of parking will be reserved for accessibility. \nCan I bring my own food? \n· Yes\, you are welcome to bring your food. We will also have food trucks from local businesses selling food for the duration of the concert. \nWill ATMs be available for cash withdrawal? \n· No\, ATMs are not available on-site. \nIs smoking permitted since the event is outdoors? \n· No\, smoking is not permitted.
