In the spirit of the Million Man March and the return of Unifest\, on Thursday\, October 16\, 2025\, we walk the path our ancestors walked across the 11th Street Bridge into Anacostia and Barry Farms where they built their homes and communities. \n📅 Thursday\, October 16\, 2025\n🕔 Gather 5:00 PM | Walk begins 6:30 PM\n📍 Meet at 12th & M Street SE (1201 M Street SE) \nWe are the ones to protect our past\, present and future! Bring your family and community. LET’S LIGHT UP LEGACY! \nMake your lantern at a community workshop near you—or create one at home and join us on October 16th! \nRun of Show: \n5:00 – 6:00 PM – Gathering at 11th & M Street \n6:00 – 6:30 PM – Opening speeches (youth will perform) \n6:30 PM – Lantern Walk begins \n7:15 PM – Arrival at the church \n7:30 PM – Youth performance at the church
